Well, the day got off to a roaring start with an excellent review of THE OTHER VIETNAM WAR by the folks at Rosepoint Publishing. A hearty thank you to them. I believe exposure to books like this will have some effect on how readers frame the idea of war in their minds. Oh, sure, these books might be exciting to read, but stop and think about what happened to the principle players in the action. The enjoyment one receives from such books came from someone else’s sacrifice. That’s not to say that a reader shouldn’t enjoy a book. The reader should keep in mind where the story in the book came from and the persons who made the book possible.
I’m pumped up, now, to see what happens in day 5.
